BAIDATA joins the European Commission's Digital Education Hackathon (DigiEduHack), with the aim of contributing to the transformation of educational methods through the incorporation of disruptive technologies. Under the title “New Learning Environments for Disruptive Technologies”, on November 11 and 12 BAIDATA will bring together creative and technological minds to develop applications capable of improving learning and knowledge assessment, ensuring a secure and scalable data exchange in real educational environments.
How can I participate?
In the case of BAIDATA, our hackathon will be held on November 11th and 12th at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. To participate in our challenge, all you have to do is register at this link. If you do not have an account, you will have to fill in a short form to complete your registration in less than a minute.
Is it open to everyone?
Anyone can participate in our hackathon, although it is especially aimed at university students, education professionals, researchers and people with a special interest in innovation and digital education.
What will I be able to do during the hackathon?
In addition to demonstrating your creativity and your ability to create innovative applications and systems, you will have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with experts in different areas, experiment with advanced technologies and access prizes and awards presented by BAIDATA and the European Commission.
Can I sign up by myself or do I need a team?
The main idea of our hackathon is to encourage teamwork to develop innovative solutions and identify new ways to promote the culture of data sharing. However, if you don't have a team you can sign up individually and we will help you find one.
How should I submit my project?
The format is open. You can present your proposals in the most appropriate way according to your capabilities or the characteristics of the solution: a conceptual scheme, a detailed analysis of the methodology, a visual presentation in Power Point, a code prototype...
What is DigiEduHack?
DigiEduHack is a European Union initiative designed to promote innovation, collaboration and creativity from the ground up, driving positive change in digital education.
What does this initiative consist of?
It is a series of local 24-hour hackathons, organized between November 8 and 17, 2024. These events bring together participants from all over Europe and various parts of the world to create solutions to different challenges related to digital education.
