Today, from BAIDATA, we want to share with you that the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) has released version 3.0 of the Blueprint—and it marks a turning point in how we build the future.

Until now, we were working with preliminary versions in constant evolution. Blueprint 3.0, however, arrives as the stable and final version. What does this mean for you? It means you now have a consolidated reference framework, with no major structural changes expected in the short term. What exactly is the Blueprint and why should you care?
Think of the Blueprint as Europe’s official “instruction manual” for creating, governing, and scaling data spaces. At its core, it is an interoperable framework that enables secure, trust-based data transactions.
To make it easier to navigate, the DSSC has organized it around three fundamental pillars that cover everything you need to know:

Governance and Legal Aspects: Establishes the “rules of the game” (the Rulebook) so that control over data always remains in the hands of those who generate it: you.

Technology: Details open standards and technical building blocks (such as digital identity or usage policies) so that systems from different companies can “understand” each other seamlessly.
A new way of presenting it: more intuitive and practical
One of the major improvements in this version is its presentation. It is no longer just a dense document; it has been transformed into a set of practical assets and interconnected building blocks.
