June 19, 2024 - June 20, 2024

DESCRIPTION

DMS is a unique event to guide the Data Management community in the technology landscape, an open forum for sharing experiences and use cases. A fundamental summit for CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, BI Managers, Data Governance Officers, Data Scientists who implement emerging technologies to solve new technological challenges.

In this context, BAIDATA will be moderating a round table entitled ‘Data spaces as catalysts for territorial cohesion’, in which we will analyse with experienced professionals how different administrations and organisations are starting to use data spaces to promote social and economic cohesion, and we will analyse how efficient data management can boost equitable development in different regions.

From the perspective of data management experts, government representatives and private sector leaders, we will examine how the availability, accessibility and quality of data can influence political decision-making, urban planning, local economic development and citizen participation.

Participants will discuss case studies and best practices that highlight how data spaces can be used to address specific territorial challenges, such as bridging the digital divide, promoting sustainable tourism, managing natural resources and improving public services.

In addition, key issues such as data governance, privacy and security, public-private collaboration and citizen participation in the creation and use of data spaces to ensure equitable and sustainable territorial development will be explored.
