New Learning Environments for Disruptive Technologies I DigiEduHack 2024

November 11, 2024 - November 12, 2024

DESCRIPTION

We invite you to join our DigiEduHack 2024, a hackathon held in parallel with the DOK Summit, where creative and technological minds will come together to tackle challenges in the educational field, driven by disruptive technologies. At BAIDATA, we are focusing on the challenge: New Learning Environments for Disruptive Technologies.

These tools should leverage artificial intelligence to facilitate and enhance learning in data sharing systems while also ensuring the security of information and its transfer. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and technical skills by developing applications, platforms, or systems that address the improvement of learning and knowledge assessment while ensuring secure data sharing. The solutions must be scalable and applicable in real educational environments, demonstrating how AI can be integrated to benefit educators and students.

What is DigiEduHack?

DigiEduHack is a European Union initiative designed to promote grassroots innovation, collaboration, and creativity, driving positive change in digital education.

This initiative offers exciting opportunities for learning, collaboration, and innovation. Whether you're an organization interested in hosting a local event, a student, educator, entrepreneur, or a digital education enthusiast eager to join a hackathon, DigiEduHack provides a unique platform to unleash your creativity and explore the latest trends and technologies in digital education.

By participating in DigiEduHack, you'll have the opportunity to engage in dynamic local events, connect with a diverse community of like-minded individuals, and showcase your skills on a global stage. DigiEduHack is the ideal space for those who want to stay at the forefront of innovation and shape the future of education in the digital era.

How does it work?

DigiEduHack is a series of 24-hour grassroots hackathons held locally over a span of ten days, from November 8 to 17, 2024. These events bring participants together from across Europe and around the world to develop solutions for various challenges related to digital education.

Launched in 2019 as part of the European Commission's first Digital Education Action Plan, DigiEduHack has engaged nearly 10,000 participants in its first five editions, both within Europe and beyond. The initiative now continues under the Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027, with a long-term goal to foster grassroots innovation and contribute to the objectives of the European Digital Education Hub.
