DESCRIPCIÓN
The Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service has launched the Data Spaces Trust List, an official and voluntary register that identifies data spaces that meet the technical and security requirements set by the public administration. Managed through the Data Spaces Reference Centre (CRED), this initiative will recognise data-sharing environments that operate under common principles of trust, governance and interoperability. These criteria are based on the UNE 0087:2025 specification, in whose development BAIDATA participated as a leading association promoting the data economy in Spain.
The Trust List is part of the Sectoral Data Spaces Promotion Plan, with a budget of 500 million euros, and is coordinated with the Data Spaces Kit funding programme, open for applications until 31 March. While the Kit provides resources to support the onboarding of new organisations, the Trust List establishes the reference framework that ensures the quality and reliability of registered data spaces, strengthening the development of a robust and secure data economy in Spain.
