SQS, first laboratory accredited for IDS component validation

SQS-Software Quality Systems, S.A., one of BAIDATA's members, has reached a significant milestone in the data space sector by being recognised as the first test laboratory to be accredited by the International Data Space Association (IDSA) for the validation of IDS components.

The IDS model is a standard created by IDSA, one of the leading organisations developing the Single European Data Space to help organisations share data securely, reliably and sovereignly. Within this architecture, certification of entities and components by assessment laboratories is recommended.

IDSA's recognition demonstrates SQS' ability to perform high quality software testing and ensure data security and reliability, which is crucial at a time when the data economy is booming. As an association dedicated to promoting the development of data spaces in the Iberian Peninsula, BAIDATA sees this accreditation as a positive step in the right direction.
