Unboxing: ADP4DS (Anjana Data Platform For Data Spaces)

As part of BAIDATA's new series of webinars titled ‘Unboxing,’ we have created a space dedicated to showcasing the technological solutions that are transforming data spaces, promoting interoperability, and strengthening digital sovereignty in various sectors. With this series, we want to open the ‘box’ of innovation and analyse, in a practical and accessible way, how different organisations are building reliable and sustainable data ecosystems.

With this initiative, we hope that ‘Unboxing’ will become a key event for discovering relevant ideas, inspiring new collaborations, promoting knowledge exchange, and highlighting the value of the solutions presented, which enable a more reliable and sovereign digital ecosystem.

In the first session of this series, scheduled for Wednesday, 12th November, and led by Mario de Francisco Ruiz (CEO of Anjana Data) and Lucía Engo Bermejo (Head of Customer Success at Anjana Data) will present ADP4DS (Anjana Data Platform For Data Spaces), a product developed by this Spanish company to offer Data Space promoters a plug-and-play technological tool that allows them to:

• Comply with the ‘Essential’ and ‘Recommended’ requirements set out in the Technical Requirements for Data Spaces table in Annex VI of Order TDF/1461/2023, of 29 December, published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) No. 16, of 18 January 2024.
• Ensure the decentralisation and sovereignty of data, ensuring that owners retain full control over their data, including the ability to decide who can access it, how it can be used and under what conditions.
• Provide a data exchange mechanism based on digital contracts, in which both parties agree on the terms of use through machine-readable contracts, whose policies are automatically enforced.

Following the main standards and frameworks in Data Management, European Regulation and Legislation, Data Spaces and Open Data, ADP4DS provides the following capabilities:

• It offers all the necessary components to deploy and set up a technological architecture for building a Data Space in both IaaS/PaaS and SaaS modes.
• Open, modular, scalable and interoperable architecture, with multiple customisation and extensibility capabilities without the need for development, through the use of parameterisation and low-code and no-code techniques.
• Based on mature and robust technology, internationally recognised in business environments and used in production by multiple large entities worldwide in highly complex environments and ecosystems (Anjana Data Platform).
• User experience adapted to different participant profiles (producers, consumers and authorities) with one interface for ‘users’ and another specifically for ‘administrators’ of the Data Space.
• Ease of implementation, maintenance, operation and administration with a very low learning curve to get started, but also with advanced capabilities for expert users.
• Low initial investment and a flexible and scalable ‘pay-per-use’ model based on ‘published assets’ in the Data Space and with unlimited coverage for the number of participants and number of connectors.
