Who we are
BAIDATA (Association for the Development of the Data Economy) is the meeting point where ideas, people and organizations come together to shape the future of data. It was created with the support of the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), GAIA, Lantik, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Innovalia Association and the IDSA Hub in Spain.
Our mission is simple: to help build a strong, reliable and competitive data ecosystem in the Iberian Peninsula and Southern Europe
To do this, we promote the adoption of data spaces by connecting companies, institutions and ecosystem actors, supporting them with outreach, training, collaboration and initiatives that turn data into real opportunities.
Mission
Promote the data-driven economy by connecting European data spaces with regional public-private ecosystems and fostering the adoption of solutions that generate real value for companies, institutions and territories.
Vision
To be a benchmark in enabling data spaces, promoting data use that drives innovation, competitiveness and sustainability.
