October 14

On 14 October, the opening event for Cátedra Institucional de Inteligencia del Dato will take place, a joint initiative between the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and the University of Castilla-La Mancha.

The event will provide an opportunity to learn about the Chair’s objectives and main areas of focus, which include the data economy, public statistics, data quality and governance, secure information sharing, privacy, high-value data and the use of artificial intelligence in sovereign environments. Issues relating to social and health data, sustainable development, the third sector and the regional data ecosystem will also be addressed.

The programme will explore the power of data, the creation of shared-value ecosystems, cooperation between universities, public administrations, businesses and society, and the importance of trust, privacy and data sovereignty.

It will be a day for listening, learning, sharing and enjoying, alongside a stellar line-up of participants, and, above all, for continuing to drive forward the data ecosystem in Castilla-La Mancha.

A new forum for connecting knowledge, talent and innovation around a key area for the region’s future.
