Sustainability and new regulations require companies to share reliable data about their products. Two topics are particularly in the spotlight: the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), a product’s CO₂ footprint calculated using standardised methods and shared securely throughout the supply chain; and the Digital Product Passport (DPP), a digital profile that brings together key information about a product throughout its entire life cycle, facilitating regulatory compliance and traceability.

The value of both lies in the secure sharing of data between companies, which is made possible by industrial data spaces such as Catena-X.

It is within this context that the Data Space Accelerator study, coordinated by IDSA in collaboration with Catena-X, analyses how these data spaces operate in practice. The webinar will explore the use cases for PCF and DPP within Catena-X, and explain what the study entails and how the remuneration of up to €30,000, linked to verified results, works.
