The European Health Data Space (EHDS) sets a new framework for accessing and exchanging health data across the EU, with obligations applying progressively from 2029 and new data categories added through 2031. For hospitals, clinics, laboratories and diagnostic centers, the challenge goes beyond regulatory compliance: data, systems and governance all need to be prepared.
