The Basque Country is moving toward a new generation of digital health based on AI and data
Health 2.0 Basque brought together five Basque companies in Donostia, as part of the XIII International Digital Health Congress, to present projects that are driving more personalized and patient-centered healthcare. The initiatives presented address areas such as smart rehabilitation, telemedicine, remote monitoring, precision medicine, and support for clinical decision-making through artificial intelligence.
Among the participating companies are Ubikare and Vicomtech, both partners of BAIDATA, which presented initiatives aimed at harnessing the potential of data and AI in the healthcare sector. Projects such as OSATURIK, led by Ubikare, Vicomtech, and other Basque companies and members of the RVCTI; which focuses on transforming real-world clinical data into standardized and interoperable assets, highlight the importance of governance, interoperability, and data spaces for advancing toward a connected digital health model aligned with the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
